Beta Upsilon Chi is the largest Christian social fraternity in the United States. Since its founding in 1985, BYX (pronounced "bucks") has spread across the country.

The Mu Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi was founded in 2002, and has since become the largest non-IFC social fraternity at SMU.
